Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival – Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Myriad Travel representative and assisted with immigration formalities before being transferred to your hotel.

Spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring the vibrant Egyptian capital at your leisure.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02: Cairo – Aswan

After breakfast, meet your professional Egyptologist guide for a full-day tour of Cairo’s iconic attractions.

Visit the world-famous Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of ancient artefacts, before continuing to the magnificent Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, one of the world’s most recognisable monuments. Guests may also enjoy an optional camel ride across the Giza Plateau for spectacular views of these ancient wonders.

Later in the evening, transfer to the railway station to board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 03: Aswan – Nile Cruise – Kom Ombo

Enjoy breakfast on board before arriving in Aswan, where you will transfer to your luxury Nile Cruise.

After lunch, embark on a guided tour of Aswan’s most famous landmarks, including the impressive High Dam, the historic Old Dam, the Granite Quarries featuring the famous Unfinished Obelisk, and the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Later, begin your cruise along the Nile towards Kom Ombo.

Day 04: Kom Ombo – Edfu

Following breakfast, visit the fascinating Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two deities—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, the falcon god.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing towards Edfu while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the River Nile.

In the evening, enjoy onboard entertainment, including a traditional Galabeya cultural evening.

Day 05: Edfu – Luxor

After breakfast, visit the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered one of Egypt’s finest ancient temples.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing through Esna towards Luxor while enjoying lunch on board and panoramic views of rural Egypt.

Following dinner, enjoy evening entertainment before your overnight stay aboard the cruise.

Day 06: Luxor – Cairo

After breakfast, disembark and begin exploring the incredible archaeological treasures of Luxor.

Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, final resting place of many pharaohs of the New Kingdom, including the famous tombs of ancient rulers. Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut before stopping at the impressive Colossi of Memnon.

Later, transfer to the railway station for your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 07: Cairo

Breakfast will be served on board before arriving in Cairo.

Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Guests may choose to explore Cairo independently, visit the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar or simply relax before departure.

Day 08: Cairo – Departure

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your onward international flight.
