Itinerary

Day 01: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel south to Amboseli National Park, arriving at your campsite in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the park’s open plains, famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Full Day Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

The park offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and numerous bird species. You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the local culture and customs (optional and payable locally).

Day 03: Amboseli – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart for the Mount Kenya region and journey to the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive through this remarkable private conservancy, home to the Big Five, East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary. Night game drives may also be available depending on park regulations and camp arrangements.

Day 04: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Samburu National Reserve

Following breakfast, continue north to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch.

Later in the afternoon, head out on a game drive through this unique semi-arid reserve, renowned for its rare northern wildlife species including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and gerenuk.

Day 05: Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.

In addition to abundant wildlife, guests may choose to visit a traditional Samburu village for a cultural experience and insight into the community’s way of life (optional and payable locally).

Day 06: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Baringo

After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south to the beautiful freshwater Lake Baringo, arriving in time for lunch.

Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake or take an optional boat excursion to explore the islands and observe hippos, crocodiles and a remarkable variety of birdlife.

Day 07: Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria

Following breakfast, continue to Lake Bogoria, one of Kenya’s most spectacular Rift Valley lakes.

Famous for its steaming hot springs, geysers and seasonal flamingo populations, Lake Bogoria offers dramatic scenery and unique geological features. Spend the afternoon exploring the area before returning to camp.

Day 08: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, travel to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Following lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive through this renowned wildlife sanctuary, famous for its thriving black and white rhino populations, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, buffalo, waterbucks, leopards and an impressive diversity of birdlife.

Day 09: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive across the reserve’s vast grasslands, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife.

Day 10: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the magnificent Masai Mara with extensive morning and afternoon game drives.

Search for the iconic Big Five while encountering giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, crocodiles and countless other species. During the migration season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.

Guests may also enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village for a cultural experience.

Day 11: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel to the beautiful freshwater Lake Naivasha.

Arrive in time for lunch before spending the afternoon at leisure. Optional activities include a boat ride on the lake to view hippos and birdlife or a visit to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary (optional and payable locally).

Day 12: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Nairobi.

Upon arrival, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan camping adventure.
