Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Myriad Travel representative and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before a safari briefing.
Overnight: Selected Hotel.
Day 2: Kigali – Nyungwe National Park
After breakfast, depart for Nyungwe National Park.
En route, visit:
King’s Palace Museum, Nyanza
Ethnographic Museum, Huye
After lunch, continue through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside to Nyungwe National Park.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Overnight: Selected Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Nyungwe National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading into Nyungwe Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience.
Optional activities include the famous Canopy Walk or a guided cultural village visit (available at an additional cost).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Nyungwe Forest Experience
Spend another day exploring the rich biodiversity of Nyungwe National Park.
Choose from guided nature walks, primate tracking, birdwatching, or additional forest experiences led by expert park guides.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Overnight: Selected Lodge.
Day 5: Nyungwe – Lake Kivu
After breakfast, journey through Rwanda’s scenic rolling hills to the beautiful shores of Lake Kivu.
Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Overnight: Selected Lake Resort.
Day 6: Lake Kivu – Volcanoes National Park
Following breakfast, continue north towards Volcanoes National Park.
Guests may choose an optional speedboat transfer across Lake Kivu (available at an additional cost) before proceeding by road to Kinigi, where magnificent views of the Virunga Volcanoes await.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking adventure.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic excursion to the beautiful Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 8: Volcanoes National Park – Kigali
Enjoy breakfast before departing for Kigali.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 9: Kigali City Tour – Departure
After breakfast, discover the highlights of Kigali on a guided city tour.

City viewpoints
Following the tour, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight.
