This small and intimate safari eco- camp is located within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a vast 90000-acre wildlife area between the Aberdares and the majestic Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees.

Porini Rhino Camp is in a secluded valley, on the banks of a seasonal river and under the shade of acacia trees. The Kenyan safari camp in Ol Pejeta consists of just nine spacious and comfortable guest tents, each having been carefully sited to take advantage of the wonderful surrounding views. Each tent is tastefully furnished and has solar-power lighting and ensuite hot shower and flush toilet. The camp is specially designed to have minimum environmental impact (with no permanent structures and using eco-friendly fuel). The newest tents are the family units that are H shaped and made of high quality canvas, they are very spacious, each wing measuring 64 square metres and the lounge is 16 square metres. Each of the 2 units consists of two rooms with a lounge in between. Each of the two rooms has a king size bed and a single bed, The high-quality, spacious tents are tastefully furnished and have solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet) and a private veranda. The family units are ideal for families or group of friends traveling together and are at the same price per person as our other tents. Details

Day 01:Nairobi-Laikipia

Depart from Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive to the Laikipia region. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge or camp. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive or nature walk in the conservancy. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 02:Full day Laikipia safari

Start the day with an early morning breakfast before heading out for a full-day safari experience, which may include game drives, guided walks, or other activities. Enjoy a picnic lunch (Upon request) in the wilderness and continue with afternoon safari activities. Return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and leisure time.

Day 03:Laikipia-Nairobi

Optionally, start the day with an early morning game drive or relaxation at the lodge. After breakfast, check-out from the lodge/camp and depart from Laikipia. Stop for lunch at a restaurant en route to Nairobi. Arrive back in Nairobi and drop-off at Kencom or your preferred location.
